The size of the project, the expertise needed for each step within the project, and of course the weather all play a role in the  timeframe to complete your new pool. Most professional pool builders will have a starting package which includes the basics needed with a list of options that can fulfill your needs. On small to midsize residential backyards most timelines would be aprox. 2 weeks for installation then allow time for sodding or landscaping to green things up. Larger projects can include designs from landscape architects with great detail on elevations drainage, deck space, gazebos, pool cabanas, fencing and retaining walls.  This really helps  the homeowner see how the finished product will look in there back yard.  These projects are  usually 4 - 8 weeks depending on product availability and good old mother nature. Take the time to find a reputable builder that has experience and lots of pictures and referrals to help guide and educate you on this process.  The lowest price might make you feel good off the start but the price is soon forgotten when things dont go as you planned.  Remember life  is not perfect and when things go wrong you want a contractor that will recognize the issues   and make it right. ![describe the image](https://www.rintouls.ca/hs-fs/file-38351042-jpg/images/155.jpg)   [![Free Quote](https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/247379/6ed908a9-51ac-4855-b798-fd1b4b380d15.png)](https://cta-redirect.hubspot.com/cta/redirect/247379/6ed908a9-51ac-4855-b798-fd1b4b380d15)   0 Comments [Click here to read/write comments](https://www.rintouls.ca/blog/bid/300064/How-long-does-it-take-to-build-an-inground-pool#comments-listing) Tags: [BACKYARD ENTERTAINING WITH FLARE](https://www.rintouls.ca/blog/topic/backyard-entertaining-with-flare), [How to get the best value](https://www.rintouls.ca/blog/topic/how-to-get-the-best-value), [Insulation](https://www.rintouls.ca/blog/topic/insulation), [Putting Modern Technology To Work For You](https://www.rintouls.ca/blog/topic/putting-modern-technology-to-work-for-you), [professional pool builders](https://www.rintouls.ca/blog/topic/professional-pool-builders), [Create a little paradise in your own backyard](https://www.rintouls.ca/blog/topic/create-a-little-paradise-in-your-own-backyard), [Backyard Automation](https://www.rintouls.ca/blog/topic/backyard-automation), [Comfort and Design](https://www.rintouls.ca/blog/topic/comfort-and-design), [Ease of Maintainance](https://www.rintouls.ca/blog/topic/ease-of-maintainance), [ENTERTAINING](https://www.rintouls.ca/blog/topic/entertaining), [Reputation](https://www.rintouls.ca/blog/topic/reputation), [The size of the project](https://www.rintouls.ca/blog/topic/the-size-of-the-project), [design and custom installation](https://www.rintouls.ca/blog/topic/design-and-custom-installation) [All Posts](https://www.rintouls.ca/blog/all) ### Subscribe via Email ### Follow Me ### Latest Posts ### Posts by Category -
